The director of Ashland Civil Defense Agency will make maximum use of existing facilities and services. Upon request of the director, the City Council will issue the necessary letter of instructions to expand the functions of the existing City facility or service so as to include civil defense activities. The duties of the head of any existing City facility or service shall with this order include civil defense responsibilities. (Ord. 1301 § 3, amended, 1961)
