In addition to the performance of their regular and ordinary duties, it shall be the duty of all members of the Fire Department, at all times and under all circumstances, to go to the aid of all persons in distress or danger and render them such help and assistance as lies within their power and to perform any and all other duties when ordered by the Fire Chief. In case any member of the Fire Department is injured while rendering such additional services, the employee shall be deemed to be injured in the course of employment.
