A. No owner or person in charge of a dangerous animal is permitted to fail to keep the dangerous animal confined or restricted in a manner reasonably necessary to protect the health or safety of the public or property of another from said animal.

B. A dangerous animal means any animal which has the propensity to menace or attack without provocation persons or other animals, which is listed as invasive species by Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, which carries communicable diseases, or which is included in the definitions of dangerous dog under ORS 609.035 or exotic animals as defined under ORS 609.305.

C. Any violation of this section is punishable as provided under 9.08.990. (Ord. 3137, amended, 2017; Ord. 3025, amended, 08/03/2010)
