No transfer of assignment of any license issued under this Chapter is valid or permitted, except that when a person sells or transfers a business activity for which such license has been issued, the purchaser is not required to pay an additional license fee for the remainder of the fiscal year, provided the seller notifies the Finance Department in writing of the transfer of the business activity. If the location of a business activity is changed, but the nature of the business activity is unchanged, the license may be transferred to the new location. (Ord. 3087, amended, 10/01/2013)
