A. It shall be unlawful for any person to use or maintain any alarm system without a current valid permit therefore.

B. City police may refuse to respond to an alarm from a system without a permit.

C. No permit shall be required for an exempt alarm system as defined in Section 4.32.020.F, and the provisions of this chapter shall not apply to such systems.

D. Violation of this provision shall be an infraction. Each day during which the violation is maintained or continued shall be deemed a separate infraction.
