All nominating petitions of candidates for City offices shall be filed with the Office of the City Recorder not sooner than the date specified in ORS 221.180, and not later than the date provided in Article VII, Section 2, of the Ashland City Charter, which is 12 days before the date the Recorder must file the same with the County Clerk.
