There is established a Historic Commission which will consist of nine (9) voting members, and certain nonvoting ex officio members including the Chairperson of the Planning Commission, a representative from the Ashland City Council, and a representative of the Ashland Building Division. To qualify the Historic Commission as a Certified Local Government (CLG) Commission, some of the members should meet the professional qualifications under State Historic Preservation Office requirements.
