There is a charge for temporary service for new construction requiring only a service drop and meter setting, which is as follows:

The amount of the charge shall be paid at the time of request for service. Such temporary service, when overhead, must be attached to a secured structure and have the state electrical inspection tag before connection. Where possible, the location of the temporary service should be such that it can be also used with a minimum of alteration for the permanent service.
