A. No person shall willfully or maliciously detain any book, newspaper, magazine, pamphlet, or manuscript belonging to the public library for thirty (30) days after notice in writing from the librarian of such library, given after the expiration of time which by regulations of such library such book, newspaper, magazine, pamphlet, phonograph record, or manuscript may be kept. The notice shall bear upon its face a copy of this section and Section 10.60.060.

B. Any person who violates any provision of this Chapter is subject to Section 1.08.020 of the Ashland Municipal Code. Any violation of this section is a Class IV Violation. (Ord. 3137, amended, 2017; Ord. 3026, amended, 08/03/2010)
